Piadina is a classic Italian flatbread, traditional for the Emilia-Romagna region. The first recipes date back to 1371.The product recipe is very simple: flour, water, olive oil (or lard).
Today there are many variants of piadine: wholewheat, gluten-free, with different flavours (beetroot, spinach, tomato and oregano).
Piadina can be used as an alternative to bread, for making sandwiches with various ingredients and as a base for pizza.
